As you may know, Maine is set to be the first state to protect marriage equality at the ballot box, and this historic campaign means a lot to me. I am here until election day (November 3rd), and literally working 12 hours every single day.

I am doing all that I can humanly do, and I am asking you folks to do the same. Opponents of equality here have money from all over the country, and are flooding TV and radio with horrendous advertisements.

In addition to my time and energy, I have began to contribute to the campaign and I am asking you to do the same. Polls show that we are dead even right now, and we are doing everything possible on the ground.

We have the chance to change how the LGBT movement fairs at the ballot box. Out of 34 referendums, we have never won marriage at the polls. Don't let election day pass thinking you could have contributed another minute or dollar. Every $5 contribution adds up.
